Fulda Gap, the first battle of the next war, is a regimental / brigade level simulation of warfare in modern Europe. Should the Soviets strike west, their first attack would be aimed at the heavily fortified US - NATO forces in the Southern German area. Fulda Gap incorporates the latest, most up-to-date advances of military technology (including chemical warfare and nuclear weapons) and elements such as the effects of Soviet doctrine, untried units, and disengagement maneuvers. Fulda Gap includes 400 cardboard playing pieces, a highly detailed 22" x 34" map of the area, and various playing aids.
